Tennessee Broadband Resiliency, Public Safety, and Quality Act!

Tens of millions of broadband infrastructure subsidies are coming to Tennessee, which means lots of work for CWA members. We need to make sure that this public investment is accountable to state oversight, so that providers deliver on their promises and we get one step closer to achieving reliable broadband access for all. 

The Broadband Resiliency, Public Safety, and Quality Act (SB2472/HB2474) does just that by giving state regulators the authority to exercise oversight for broadband and VoIP services.

Call your Tennessee State Senator and urge them to pass the bill! We need to update our laws if we want to get to our goal of universal, high-quality, and affordable internet access.
